GETTING AROUND THE CITY? THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT

For the past few weeks, the radio station WNYC's Brian Lehrer has had an ongoing discussion about commuting in New York.  Each of the four installments have focused on a different aspect of travel in the city,  from public policy and personal experiences to this week's focus-  the way travelers have adapted using new technology and what we can hope, or expect the city to do so we catch up with more tech-evolved countries like Japan.  While a few decidedly old school New Yorkers called to scoff at the need for an iPhone app that could help them find train car which offers the quickest exit at their destination, we found the segment enlightening and useful.  Some apps ... read more>>
